A new layer of customization has arrived in Taming.io: Trinkets!

Trinkets are special items that can be equipped on your Tamons to grant them additional bonuses or completely new effects. They can improve healing, defense, damage, movement, experience gain, or even allow a pet to freeze, burn, slow, or drain the life of its enemies.

What Are Trinkets?

Trinkets are pieces of equipment made specifically for pets. Each Tamon can equip up to 3 Trinkets at the same time, allowing you to combine multiple effects and create a build adapted to your strategy.

The same pet can now be prepared in several different ways. You could turn an aggressive Tamon into a self-healing fighter, give a defensive pet additional protection, or equip status effects to control enemies during combat.

Type-Based Bonuses

Some Trinkets work with every pet, while others become stronger when equipped on a Tamon of the appropriate type.

Ice Trinkets are more effective on Ice-type Tamons, Fire Trinkets perform better on Fire-type pets, and Plant Trinkets can become especially powerful when used by Plant-type companions.

Choosing the right Trinkets is therefore not only about their individual effects: it is also about finding the best possible synergy with your Tamon.

Two Ways to Obtain Trinkets

Trinkets can currently be collected through two main systems.

Some rare Trinkets are connected to powerful biome bosses. Defeating one of these bosses may reveal a special Trinket Chest containing an item inspired by its abilities.

Other Trinkets begin as seeds found throughout the different biomes. These seeds can be planted inside your house, watered, and eventually grown into equipable items.
