The Silkworm Has Settled into Your House!

GAME UPDATE

A new creature can now appear inside your house: the Silkworm!

Like the Slime and the Giant Fly, the Silkworm is a special house pet. It is obtained through the Housing system rather than by searching the usual biomes. To find one, you must place a Crate of Grass inside your house and wait for it to transform.

A Pet Obtained Through Housing

The Silkworm is linked entirely to the Housing system. Unlike ordinary wild pets, you do not need to hunt for it on the world map. Start by placing a Crate of Grass inside your house and leave it there for 12 hours.

After those 12 hours, the crate currently has a 20% chance of revealing a sleeping Baby Silkworm on a dead-grass crate. Its appearance is not guaranteed, so several attempts may be needed.

If a Silkworm appears, it will remain on the crate for six hours. During that time, you can interact with the sleeping pet and attempt to tame it. The taming attempt has a 50% chance of success.

How to Obtain the Silkworm

To try to obtain a Silkworm:
- Place a Crate of Grass inside your house.
- Wait 12 hours for the crate to transform.
- Each crate currently has a 20% chance of revealing a sleeping Baby Silkworm.
- If one appears, attempt to tame it within six hours.
- The taming attempt has a 50% chance of success.

If the taming succeeds, the crate disappears and a Captured Silkworm potion is added to your inventory. Using this potion allows you to spawn with a Baby Silkworm as a pet in a game, and it counts as a pet you have tamed.

If you do not attempt to tame the Silkworm within six hours, it disappears and leaves an empty crate behind. Make sure to check your house after the transformation is complete.

Nurturing Cocoon

The Silkworm’s skill, Nurturing Cocoon, is a powerful support ability built around healing, defence, cleansing, and permanent regeneration.

When the skill is activated, the Silkworm wraps its target inside a cocoon of absolute comfort. The target receives several beneficial effects at the same time.

Healing and Protection

The cocoon heals its target and increases its defence, helping it withstand incoming damage. This combination gives the target both immediate recovery and additional protection.

Removing Permanent Debuffs

Nurturing Cocoon can also remove certain permanent debuffs, including permanent negative effects applied by pets such as the Giant Fly.

This gives the Silkworm a rare cleansing role: it can restore a target that would otherwise remain affected by one of these lasting penalties.

Permanent Bonus Regeneration

The most unusual part of the skill is its lasting reward: the cocoon grants the target permanent bonus regeneration.

Nurturing Cocoon therefore provides both immediate and lasting value. It heals and protects the target when the skill is used, then leaves it with permanently improved regeneration.

A Unique Support Pet

The Silkworm’s defining strength is survival, sustain, and team support. Its cocoon can heal a vulnerable target, increase its defence, remove certain permanent debuffs, and grant a permanent regeneration bonus.

This makes the Silkworm particularly valuable in teams built to endure long fights. It can protect an important pet in the short term while also improving that pet’s recovery for the remainder of the match.

Prepare Your Crates of Grass

The Silkworm is another secret house pet that rewards players who regularly develop and inspect their home.

Place your Crates of Grass and return after 12 hours. If a sleeping Silkworm appears, remember that you have only six hours to attempt the tame. With patience and a little luck, you may add this unusual support pet to your inventory.
