The Base Editor is no longer only a place for planning fortresses: you can now use it to play soccer!

Place a Soccer Ball, invite your friends through your house, and transform your personal editor into a custom field. Whether you want to organize a serious match or simply kick balls around, the Base Editor has become a brand-new multiplayer playground.

A Soccer Ball in the Base Editor

The new Soccer Ball is an object available directly inside the Base Editor. Once placed, players can push it around the map and use it to create their own soccer matches.

There is no fixed field or predefined set of rules. You decide where the goals are placed, how large the pitch should be, how many players can participate, and what obstacles are allowed.

Use as Many Balls as You Want

You are not limited to a single Soccer Ball. The Base Editor lets you place as many balls as you want, opening the door to much more than a traditional match.

You could organize:
- A classic one-ball soccer game.
- A chaotic match with several balls at once.
- A race where players must push their ball to the finish line.
- A target challenge built around towers, walls, or other objects.
- A completely custom minigame with rules invented by your team.

Build Your Own Soccer Field

Because the match takes place inside the Base Editor, you can use its building tools to design your own field.

Place walls to mark the edges of the pitch, create goals with structures, add narrow passages, or build an obstacle course around the ball. Buildings already placed in the editor can also be dragged and repositioned, making it easy to adjust your arena.

Add Bumpers for Extra Chaos

The update also introduces new Bumpers, available exclusively inside the Base Editor. They come in three different sizes and can make the Soccer Ball bounce away on impact.

Place them around your field to create unpredictable rebounds, protect the goals, or transform your soccer match into a giant pinball game.

With the right layout, the ball can bounce between several Bumpers, change direction without warning, and completely disrupt even the best-planned shot.

Invite Your Friends to Play

Your friends can join the Base Editor by visiting your house and interacting with your Paper World Map or World Map Poster.

Once everyone is inside, divide into teams, agree on the rules, and start the match. Because the field is fully customizable, every player can create a different soccer experience in their own editor.

More Than a Base Planning Tool

The Base Editor was originally created to help players prepare layouts for real games, but the Soccer Ball and Bumpers turn it into something much more creative.

It can now be used as a social space, a minigame creator, and a place where friends can compete without gathering resources or worrying about enemies destroying their field.
