A new electric canine has charged into Taming.io: the Voltdog! This lightning-fast pet can be found during the Darkness season, but you will need to brave a dangerous electric tornado before getting the chance to tame one.

Voltdog specializes in speed, aggression, and paralysis. It dashes through the battlefield at incredible speed, electrocuting every enemy caught in its path.

What is Voltdog?

Voltdog is a new Electric-type dog available during the Darkness season. Like the other elemental dogs, it is obtained through a special tornado encounter rather than appearing normally across the map.

Its combat style is built around high mobility and crowd control. Voltdog can rapidly close the distance between itself and its targets, damage several enemies during the same charge, and potentially leave them paralyzed.

How to Find Voltdog

First, you must find an electric tornado during the Darkness season. Enter the eye of the storm and remain inside until the tornado completely disappears.

Surviving inside the tornado will cause the Big Mamma Boss Voltdog to appear. Defeat the BMB, and one or more baby Voltdogs may be revealed, giving you the opportunity to tame this new Electric pet.

The tornado will constantly push you around and damage you, so come prepared with enough health, defensive equipment, and mobility. Leaving the eye too early may prevent the encounter from being completed.

A Lightning-Fast Dash

Voltdog’s skill sends it dashing forward at lightning speed. Every enemy standing in its path is electrocuted as the pet rushes through them.

The attack also has a chance to paralyze its victims, briefly preventing them from reacting or escaping. This makes Voltdog particularly effective for initiating fights, chasing fleeing players, or disrupting groups of enemies.

Control the Battlefield

Voltdog is much more than a fast pet. Its dash can pass through several targets, allowing it to create pressure across a wide part of the battlefield.

Use its speed to catch opponents by surprise, break through enemy formations, or reposition before they have time to fight back. If the paralysis activates at the right moment, your other pets will have the perfect opportunity to finish the attack.
