A new boss has appeared in Taming.io: the Gaze Boss. What first looks like a harmless egg can suddenly awaken into a dangerous Dragon-type encounter, surrounded by strange creatures and explosive surprises.

What is the Gaze Boss?

The Gaze Boss disguises itself as an ordinary egg, making it easy to overlook at first. But do not be fooled: once attacked, it awakens and partially reveals the creature hidden inside its shell. This boss can only be found in the Forest, Desert, and Ocean biomes.

Its signature attack is a powerful earthquake slam. The Gaze Boss crashes its eggshell into the ground, dealing massive damage in the surrounding area. While the attack can be dodged if you stay alert, getting caught by it can be devastating and may instantly end your run.

As the fight goes on, the Gaze Boss becomes even more dangerous. It can summon explosive eggs, and their number increases as the boss loses health. On top of that, it calls in support from its minions: the Gazes.

There are seven different kinds of Gazes, and you will not necessarily encounter all of them in a single fight. Some are manageable, while others can quickly turn the battle into chaos. For example, the Draconic Gaze attacks with a dragon head, the Spectral Gaze constantly tries to capture you, and the Infesting Gaze releases worms and leeches that attack nearby targets while also regenerating the Gaze itself.

Defeating the Gaze Boss is well worth the effort. Once it falls, you gain the opportunity to tame three baby eggs. At first, all of them look identical, and their type remains a mystery. To reveal what they truly are, you must shake them enough, for example by placing them on a circle of Boost Pads.

What type is the Gaze Boss?

The Gaze Boss is a Dragon-type boss. It can appear in the Forest, Desert, Ocean, and Volcanic biomes.

How to defeat the Gaze Boss?

Fighting the Gaze Boss requires good preparation, strong movement, and constant attention. Here are some tips to improve your chances:

Pre-battle Preparation

• Upgrade your gear: Bring the best equipment you can afford, especially weapons capable of dealing high damage quickly. Hats, capes, and other bonuses can make a big difference in a long fight.


• Stockpile resources: Carry enough food, wood, stone, and useful potions before starting the fight. Running out of supplies mid-battle can be fatal.


• Prepare utility items: Items such as Boost Pads can help you move faster and dodge attacks, while Spikes can damage enemies and slow down the boss’s minions.



Understanding the Fight

• Watch the egg carefully: Before it wakes up, the Gaze Boss looks harmless. This is your moment to decide whether you are ready to engage.


• Stay mobile after awakening: As soon as the boss becomes active, be ready to avoid its earthquake slams and explosive eggs. Never stay in the same place for too long.



Combat Strategy

• Keep your distance: The Gaze Boss is most threatening when you remain too close. Staying mobile and attacking from safer positions makes the fight much easier.


• Deal with the Gazes quickly: The summoned Gazes can become more dangerous than the boss itself if ignored. Try to eliminate them fast, especially when several appear at once.


• Avoid explosive eggs: As the boss loses health, more explosive eggs will appear. Give them space and avoid getting trapped between them and the boss.



Using the Environment

• Use terrain to your advantage: Trees, rocks, and obstacles can help you separate Gazes from the boss or create safer movement paths.


• Do not forget the reward: Once the boss is defeated, make sure to collect and shake the baby eggs to discover their hidden type.
