Two colossal legends are stomping back into Taming.io: the mighty Mammoth and the fearsome Yeti!
Both are legendary, event-limited pets that only appear in the Winter biome for a short time, so if you want them in your collection, you’ll have to brave the snow before they vanish again.

Legendary Winter Beasts

The Mammoth is a Rock / Ancient type legendary animal that appears only during special Winter events. Known as one of the heaviest and largest pets in the game, it’s built to crush defenses and shrug off knockback.

The Yeti is an Ice / Combat type legendary pet, a towering bruiser with huge health, damage and weight. It’s designed to dominate close-range fights and hold the front line during raids and PvP battles.

Mammoth: Rocky Tusks Dash

The Mammoth’s signature skill, Rocky Tusks Dash, launches it into a devastating charge. While dashing, it gains a massive speed and weight boost, plowing through enemies and dealing huge damage to buildings. If you need to smash bases or clear structures, this is your new best friend.

Because of its enormous weight, the Mammoth is especially effective against walls and towers, making it a top choice for base raiding and objective pushes.

Yeti: Avalanche Smash

The Yeti’s skill, Avalanche Smash, is a brutal nine-hit combo: it repeatedly slams the ground, dealing heavy area damage around it. Each strike has a 25% chance to apply a knockout effect, briefly stunning targets and preventing them from mounting their pet, perfect for locking down enemy tamers at key moments.

This makes the Yeti a terrifying force in PvP and high-score runs, able to both tank damage and control the battlefield with its stun chains.

Limited-Time Winter Visitors

Both the Mammoth and the Yeti are event-only, limited-time pets:

• The Mammoth only appears in the Winter biome during special events and has returned several times for short periods like holiday or summer events.
• The Legendary Yeti shows up in Winter and is announced as disappearing “with the arrival of spring”, once the snow melts, it’s gone.

Outside of their events, they can only be obtained if you already unlocked them or through specific chests, so this window is your best chance to tame them directly in the wild.

How to Tame Them

These two beasts are strong, and so are their taming requirements:

• Mammoth: appears in the Winter biome with about a 6% base taming chance.
• Yeti: also spawns in Winter with roughly a 7% base taming chance.

Use a Slingshot to increase your taming chance, and consider powerful potions like Brew of Unbreakable Friendship, Phial of Accuracy Torrefied or the Elixir of Influence to push your odds even higher when going after the Yeti.

Mammoth or Yeti, Which One Will You Choose?

The Mammoth excels at siege and building destruction, using its massive weight and powerful charge to break defenses.

The Yeti is a frontline monster, great for PvP, high scores and raids, with strong stats and a stun-heavy skill that can flip entire fights.
