A brand new generation of support pets is arriving in Taming.io: the Boostlings! 14 different Boostlings join the game, each designed to buff a pet of the same type and turn your favorite companions into true monsters on the battlefield.

By leveling up your Boostling to Boss stage and injecting it into a pet, you permanently add its bonus stats to that pet’s own abilities. Choose your combinations carefully, a well-prepared Boostling can completely change the way a pet performs.

What is a Boostling?

A Boostling is a support pet made to empower another pet of the same type. For example, a Fire Boostling can be injected into a fire-type pet like a wolf with fire attributes, granting it extra attack, defense or utility bonuses depending on how you leveled the Boostling.

Boostlings are not meant to fight on the front line by themselves, their true power is unlocked when they are merged into another pet.

From Boss to Hero: Growing Your Boostling

Each Boostling starts small, but can be leveled up just like your other pets.

However, only the Boss Boostling can actually be injected into a pet. This means you must raise your Boostling all the way to its Boss age before you can use it. Once injected, the Boostling disappears as a pet, but its enhanced capacities are added on top of the target pet’s stats.

How Boostling Injection Works

When your Boostling reaches Boss stage, you will be able to inject it into a compatible pet. After injection:

• The Boostling is consumed and can no longer be used as a normal pet.
• All of its capacity bonuses are permanently added to the chosen pet, during the game.
• The upgraded pet keeps its usual skills, but becomes much stronger thanks to its “inner Boostling”.

This system lets you build custom, high-power versions of your favorite pets by investing time into the right Boostlings.

How to Obtain Boostlings

Boostlings are born from tiny magical fragments called Magic Motes. To obtain them, you must defeat pets in the world. Each defeated creature has a chance to release a Mote of its own type, which you can then capture just like other insects.

For example:
- Defeating a Polar Bear may release an Ice Mote.
- Other pets will drop Fire, Plant, Electric and many more Motes depending on their type.

Brewing the Boostling Potion

You only need one Mote and two butterflies to cook a special potion that will summon a Boostling.

The potion needs a container, which can be purchased in the shop, alongside the other potion bottles and flasks. Combine the correct type of Motes with the right container, and you will obtain a potion that hatches into a Boostling of the corresponding type.

AFK Farming with the Wisp Jar

If you don’t feel like constantly hunting pets for Motes, you can buy a Wisp Jar in the shop. This special item can be placed in your house.

While you are AFK, the Wisp Jar will slowly generate and capture Motes for you. It’s a perfect way to prepare future Boostlings in the background while you focus on other activities.

The Wisp Jar must be fed with a crate of dust.

Other Ways to Get Boostlings

Boostlings can also be found in Pet Chests. Opening these chests gives you a chance to obtain pre-made Boostlings without crafting them yourself, which can save a lot of time if you’re hunting for a specific type.
