There are several ways to unlock the genie.

The genie lamp

Your adventure begins with the unearthing of the genie's mystical lamp, buried deep within the desert sands. Each lamp harbors a genie waiting to be released. However, tread carefully! Not all genies share the same disposition, and things might escalate unpredictably.

The Baby Genie

You are lucky! The baby genie is calm when you first find it. Like all babies, it just wants to sleep. You can catch it like you do with other baby animals. But remember: You were lucky to find the baby genie on your first try. To make sure you can tame it, use a slingshot and a special hat right away!

The Big Daddy Boss

More often than not, this is what you'll face: a massive Genie, none too pleased, fully aware of its power to squash you with ease. Make sure you're armed and ready! Spikes, turrets, and rock-type defenses work wonders—lucky for you, you're in the desert. Choose a weapon that suits your style. Quick and nimble? Daggers offer rapid strikes. But if you're on the slower side, be prepared for some hard hits. The ax deals heavy damage, but it'll slow you down.

Even after overcoming this challenge, you have potentially two rewards.

The Chest

In this chest, you will find either golden apples or a precious empty lamp. The lamp goes directly into your inventory. You have two choices: use the lamp to cook a potion in your next game, or sell it to Mauve. Using the lamp means you'll start with a tamed Genie, saving you the effort of taming one. If you choose to sell, remember, these lamps are rare. Mauve might give you a good price since not everyone can capture a genie and they might want to buy one from the store.

The Baby Genie

All that hard work, and now you have a baby genie ready to be tamed! Make sure you have plenty of pebbles. It would be a shame to miss taming it after all you've been through.
